Project 1: Inflorescent Wraps
When a cluster of flowers exist naturally on one branch making a unique composition, is called an inflorescence flower. This project was inspired by inflorescence flower composition. The product proposed is a luxury Gift Wrapping set which includes various related products.
Images and inflorescence flowers were collected and compiled.
Linear drawings were extracted from the flower compositions.
Flowers were photographed from different angles.
Experimentation was done on the flowers by pressing them between fabrics.
Another pressed sample on fabric revealing a unique print from the flower excretions.
Negative space prints were extracted for experimentation purpose.
Press prints were also experimented with.
Flowers were infused onto handmade paper.
Collage were made using photographed images and linear drawings.

This experiments involves a larger piece of flower infused on a hand made sheet of paper.
Experimenting with hand made paper process and infusing it with flowers.
This experiment consists of organza fabric infused with hand made paper and flowers to make a larger sheet fit for wrapping gifts.
This sheet is made with hand made paper infused with floral printed organza fabric.

This is a prototype of the complete product set that includes, paper bags, envelops, wrapping sheets and stickers.

Hand made stickers were also included. These stickers have finishes on them to make them long lasting and shiny.
